After Your Case Has Been Heard

What will happen after the Magistrate has heard your case will depend on the kind of case it is and what the Magistrate has decided. The Magistrate will often explain what will happen next, such as if you have to come back to the Court and when, or what forms you may need to complete.

Make sure you listen carefully throughout the whole hearing and pay attention to what the Magistrate says you need to do next.  It is helpful if you have a notebook and pen so that you can write down what the Magistrate says.
